Our online distance education program offers students the opportunity to study a comprehensive curriculum in the Aviation Management program. Effective business administration is essential for any company. The leadership role management plays in the business world is vital to long-term growth of the company and its success. This is why employers look for qualified and educated personel with good leadership, communication, and time management skills to manager their employees. For these reasons many employers seek out those who have degrees in business administration to help lead their companies in the competitive business markets of today.

Through this program students will learn the skills needed to succeed in this field. All of the courses are focused on the major. This allows students to maximize their learning in the core courses and succeed in their educational and career goals.

Students begin with the study of business management, organizational psychology and leadership theory. Specific courses focus on economics, accounting and strategic planning. In the higher division courses students enter symposium and project courses where they are able to select more focused study in one area of Business Administration. Here, the student will work with faculty to select a specific major area of study for their curriculum. The business symposium courses and the bachelors degree independent research project, are all focused on the selected major. Students have flexibility in selecting their major for the degree program. Some majors that have been selected included, marketing, leadership, project management, risk management, economics, quality management, real estate, business education, banking, and human behavior. These specialty courses allow students maximum opportunities to focus on their specialty major and achieve higher levels of education and skills attainment. The symposium courses are developed with faculty and students create learning contracts defining independent study, research, project development and practicum experiences in the major area of study. The perquisites for this program are: a high school diploma or an earned GED

The online curriculum offers an innovative approach to higher education. Enrollment is open and students may begin the program at any time. All courses are provided in online classrooms, with on-to-one faculty mentoring. Students also have free access to our comprehensive Study Tactics and Resources Center, with links to subject related web sites, online libraries, articles and research assistance. TUITION: $400.00 per course. Students may register and pay for one course at a time.

Students, with the assistance of an advisor, select a concentration area or major focus of study for their degree program. Some examples of degree majors include, Organizational Psychology, Economics, Information Systems Management, Food Service Management, Corporate Fund Raising, Health Care Management, Accounting, Financial Planning and Consulting, Banking, Marketing Management, Human Behavior, International Business, Advertising, Public Relations, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Nursing Management, Medical Practice Management, Managed Care, etc. Students may submit a proposal for consideration of a major area of study not listed here.

Course Completion Times: Students are permitted 10 weeks to complete an online course. This may be extended with the permission of the instructor. For all Symposium Courses, students are permitted up to a six month period for completion. Doctoral students are permitted one year for all Dissertation/Doctoral Project courses.
