Bachelors Degree inClinical HypnotherapyOur online distance education program offers students the opportunity to study a comprehensive curriculum in the Clinical Hypnotherapy degree program and receive their bachelor of science degree in this specialty. All of the courses are focused on the degree major thus allowing students maximum learning in the core courses and the education needed today to succeed in a successful Clinical Hypnotherapy career. Clinical Hypnotherapy is a very strong career option and becomes more popular all the time, in this fast growing age of alternative and complimentary health care modalities. Clients and agencies seek out those with a strong and focused education in all facets of Hypnosis and therapy. Students begin with the study of self hypnosis, psychology, counseling and nutrition and healing. Specific courses focus on pain management, energy healing and legal issues. In the higher division courses students enter symposium and project courses where they are able to select more focused study in several areas of practice and complete a comprehensive project and Clinical Hypnotherapy research topic course. These specialty courses allow students maximum opportunities to experience the real world of the specialty. Students who graduate from the Bachelors program are qualified to articulate to the DCH program (Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy). The perquisites for this program are: A certification as a Certified Hypnotist or Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. For those interested in this degree program who are not presently "certified," our Certificate Program in Clinical Hypnotherapy qualifies one for national certification as a Certified Clinical Hyponotherapist. All courses are provided in online classrooms, with on-to-one faculty mentoring. Students also have free access to our comprehensive Study Tactics and Resources Center , with links to subject related websites, online libraries, articles and research assistance. TOTAL: 120 Semester Hours Courses in this curriculum are to be taken in sequence as above. TUITION: $400.00 per course. Students may register and pay for one course at a time. * Note: cost of tuition does not include cost of text books. ** There is also a one time $ 50.00 admission processing fee. Pre-Requisites: Students entering this degree program must have first obtained certification as a Certified Hypnotist or Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. This may be extended with the permission of the instructor. For all Symposium Courses, students are permitted up to a six month period for completion. TRANSFER CREDTIS & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING CREDITS: Up to fifty percent of the degree may be earned by transfer credits from other schools and/or application for the award of experiential learning credits.
