Our online distance education program offers students the opportunity to study a comprehensive curriculum in the Christian Counseling degree program. This program incorporates theological and biblical education in addition to psychological education. A degree in Christian Counseling is a way for students interested in combining their faith with their interest in counseling.
Through this program students will learn the skills needed to succeed in this field. All of the courses are focused on the major. This allows students to maximize their learning in the core courses and succeed in their educational and career goals.
Students begin with general psychology and Christian counseling. They then pick one of two specialty tracks. In the higher division courses students study counseling theory, marriage counseling, child and adolescent counseling, and adult development counseling. Lastly students then enter the master degree level they study death and dying, substance abuse counseling, ethics and counseling law, world religions and then complete a master level thesis. Several career fields this degree will prepare you for are:

* Christian Missionary
* Pastoral Assistant
* Director of Church Services
The perquisites for this program are: a high school diploma or an earned GED
The online curriculum offers an innovative approach to higher education. Enrollment is open and students may begin the program at any time. All courses are provided in online classrooms, with on-to-one faculty mentoring. Students also have free access to our comprehensive Study Tactics and Resources Center, with links to subject related websites, online libraries, articles and research assistance. Our online degree in Christian Counseling curriculum includes:

Undergraduate Level Courses: PSY 206, CCH
140, CCH 160, CCH 260, CCH 280, PSY 316, CCH 320, CCH 340, CCH
410, CCH 420. Upon successful completion of all undergraduate
courses, students may elect to graduate with the Bachelor of Arts
degree and not continue with the graduate courses in this program.
Graduate Level Courses: CCH 530, GRF 507, CCH 560, CCH 580, CCH
600
Courses in this curriculum are to
be taken in sequence as above.
$400.00 per course for
undergraduate courses and $500.00 per course for graduate level
courses. Students may register and pay for one course at a time.
* Note: cost of tuition does not include cost of text books.
** There is also a one time $50.00 admission processing fee.

Course Completion Times: Students are permitted 10 weeks to complete an online course. This may
be extended with the permission of the instructor. For all Symposium Courses, students are
permitted up to a six month period for completion. Doctoral students are permitted one year for
all Dissertation/Doctoral Project courses.
