not meet any type of licensing requirements for a professional counseling
or psychology license. Many states will allow one to work under
the direction of a licensed counselor and/or other mental health
licensed professional. If you have any questions or concerns as
to whether your state or country allows practice in counseling and/or
psychology without an official license, then please be sure to check
with your state's licensing agency/board before enrolling into this
degree program. Please note, this degree program is not approved
by the American Psychological Association (APA). Again, there are
agencies/employers that do hire holders of degrees in counseling,
where the state laws allow practice under supervision, or do not
require licensure. It is important to first check with your own
state or country's licensing laws/requirements regarding any questions
regarding licensure or legal status to practice.
