Welcome to CCH 410, Adult Development and Aging. This is an exciting course that will examine the theories adult development and aging. Learn as much as you can from the course materials. It is my pleasure to have you in this course.
This is an eight-semester hour course. This course is allotted ten weeks of time. You must complete all of the requirements for the course successfully by the end of the ten-week period. The first day of week one will begin the day that you register for the course, or the day in which you notify me that your textbooks have arrived and you are ready to begin your studies. Please be aware of the time frame. It is rare that extensions of time are permitted, unless you have good justification. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded eight semester hours of credit.

There is a cumulative final exam (objective) required for this course covering the textbook. The final exam must be taken by the end of the tenth week in the course.
The final exam will be e-mailed to you upon your request. The examination is "open book" objective type. You have one (1) day to complete your exam. You will e-mail your exam with your answers to me and I will grade and return your test. You will also know what questions, if any, that you missed, and what the correct answer is.
The grading scale for this course is as follows:
90-100% = A
80-89% = B
70-79% = C
Below 70% = Fail
You are encouraged to communicate with me. I am available as an instructor, facilitator, and mentor to assist you in meeting your goals for this course. Primarily, communication is through email. My name is Don Jones. I have been an educator for the past 26 years. I have taught at the elementary through graduate level during those years. I have also been a senior minister for 13 years.
