A desire to learn the basic starting of your own business in the
art or art and craft field.
I, Karan Schneider, currently teach certificate and degree courses at Breyer State University. I have completed my Doctorate for Clinical Hypnotherapy & Spiritual Counseling, I also hold a Master's degree in Art and Spiritual Counseling, and Bachelor of Business Administration. I am Nationally Certified and work in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Spiritual Counseling and Grief Counseling. My office is Alternative Health Care Modalities Clinic and I lecture nationally with full skill seminars. Currently writing books and CD's on the various modalities.
Since 1988, I have owned a self-developed business called "Karan A. Schneider Collections." In 1988 the first collectible was copyrighted and since then have developed and added progressive works on an ongoing basis. My business specializes in original sculpted figures, silicone rubber mold making, authentic automata, lady dolls, marionettes, reproductions of old masters works into three dimensions, fairies, and many Christmas specialties. This is an active retail and wholesale business, with international distribution, including marketing and selling specialty supplies for the sculpting and figure making. I have developed full skill seminars and classes for the beginner to the professional, lectured in various cities across the United States, assisted in project coordination at conventions, and marketed various products and supplies at shows and conventions which resulted in increased sales.
Upon winning numerous awards at National Art Shows, and achieving world recognition for sculpting, I was selected by Hiliary Rodham Clinton to create Christmas Tree Art Work for the White House in 1999. Being authored and published internationally in Art and Sculpting books, many magazine articles written about me, many by me for self-publishing, and have written many articles for other artists.
Featured in the books, "Designing the Doll" and "Finishing the Figure," both by Susanna Oroyan. Original art pieces have been created for famous physicians, attorneys, Las Vegas managers, and celebrities including Richard Simmons. Studied with the renowned studios such as Creager Art Studio for their ethnic dolls, Mr. George Stuart who has his own museum dedicated to him in Ventura , California , and Martha Armstrong-Hand who worked for Walt Disney for many years.
All art work is copyrighted and signed. Different Certificates of Authenticity accompany the pieces whether a limited edition or a one of a kind piece.
I was also a One-of-a-Kind Art Doll Show Judge for the Michigan Doll Makers Guild, October 2002, 2003.
The cost per course is $400.00
