Breyer State University offers a complete Certificate program
in Teaching Children with Reading Difficulties. This is a twelve-semester
hour course and provides a comprehensive and detailed curriculum
in this teaching specialty. The program uses the latest and authoritative
texts. The certificate program objective is to prepare teachers
to practice at a competent level of knowledge and skill in teaching
children with special needs.
Upon successful completion of the certificate program,
graduates receive a College Certificate in Teaching Children with
Reading Difficulties, and twelve-semester hours of college credit.
CEU certificates are also available for 180 contact hours.
You may enroll at anytime and begin your studies.
The Certificate Program is designed to be a self-paced program
with one to one faculty mentoring. You are permitted twelve months
from the date of enrollment to complete the program. You study
and meet the program objectives at your own pace, and are permitted
to complete the program in less than the twelve-month allotted
time frame.
Once officially enrolled, you are given a security
password and directions to accessing the online classroom for
the Certificate Program. The classroom contains information about
me, course assignments, ordering information for textbooks, course
objectives, syllabus and information regarding exams. You are
to correspond with me via email, and/or phone.

2). TCD 350 - Methodology for Teaching Children with Reading Difficulties I.
3). TCD 360 - Methodology for Teaching Children with Reading Difficulties II.
During
your studies, you will use four textbooks. At completion of each
book, the you will take an open book exam.
The examinations
are objective type and you receive a letter grade based on the
following scale:
90–100% = A
80-89% = B
70-79% = C
Below 70% = Fail
You must receive a letter grade of C or higher to
successfully complete the program.

The tuition
for this certificate program is $ 900.00. This does not include
the cost of textbooks. You are provided ordering information for
the textbooks, and must order on your own.
Our tuition payment plan allows you to pay for one
course at a time. You may also elect to pay the entire tuition
for all three courses at one time. Each course must be paid for
prior to beginning each course.
You
may enroll at anytime for this certificate program. Enroll today
and begin your studies toward a professional college certificate
in Teaching Children with Reading Difficulties. Breyer State University has a secure online
credit card server, and so you can pay for courses right on line.
Upon enrolling in the program, you will be given a unique student
ID number and pass word to access the classroom for your course.
Each course has its own classroom where all assignments are posted,
as well as the course syllabus. All examinations are also accessed
through the classroom. Each classroom has a chat room and a message
board where you and faculty may communicate.
Some you
may be interested in taking only one or two of the courses offered
within a certificate program. This is acceptable. The price per
course will be prorated based on the total tuition cost of the
certificate program. If you elect not to take all three of the
courses within the program, however, you will not be granted the college
certificate. You must complete all three courses in the certificate
program to be awarded the college certificate.
Upon successful completion of all three courses in the program,
you will graduate and receive your official transcripts as well
as an official Diploma Certificate very suitable for framing.
