Professor: Dr. Alan R. Eastman, DCH

Syllabus

COURSE OVERVIEW: Welcome to DCH 509, a doctorate level course in the curriculum of the Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy Degree program. I am pleased to offer you this course which is a clinical study in the application of past life regression and therapy. Age regression is also explored.

Text 1, under the guidance of a trained and experienced hypnotherapist, readers learn how to place themselves into a hypnotic trance and experience various metaphysical approaches from past-life regression to super-conscious mind taps, out-of-body experiences, and soul plan ascension techniques.
- From the Publisher.

Text 2, Reliving Past Lives: The Evidence under Hypnosis. Reliving Past Lives introduced the entire world to the concept of past-life regression. This is the book that revolutionized the fields of psychology and hypnotherapy. Regressing more than 2,000 patients over a ten-year period, psychologist Helen Wambach presents an incontrovertible body of evidence proving the existence of past lives. Subjects as young as five years old recount their past-life experiences as police officers, mathematicians, laborers, and soldiers. Under deep hypnosis, they recall in startling detail the size and shape of ancient coins, clothing items, and eating utensils, and provide immediate sensory descriptions unerring in their historical accuracy vivid accounts of buildings, food, and geographical phenomena they have never seen before.
- From the Publisher.

Some people believe in past lives, some people do not. The evidence is there if one will only look. Are all the accounts of past lives credible? Some are, some are not. A Clinical Hypnotherapist will inevitably be asked to perform past-life regression, and/or age regression. I have tried to provide a varied range of textbooks on the subject. As your Professor, I do not ask you to believe in reincarnation or past lives. The idea behind this course is for you to explore the phenomena of past-life through the use of hypnosis and to make up your mind for yourself. In this course I am interested in the exploration of the phenomena of past-life regression, and age regression, through hypnosis. Once you have made a thorough investigation into the subject, I am interested in your personal opinions and ideas on the subject

The scientific investigation of past-lives and age regression is a much-debated area of study. The study regression often involves knowledge through subjective reports, people describe what they are experiencing and the hypnotherapist, or investigator, records the information received. The Clinical Hypnotherapist acts as a guide and a coach through the phenomena of past-life regression. I believe this is a fascinating area of investigation and practice for Clinical Hypnotherapists. Welcome to DCH 509. It is my pleasure to guide you through this course.
