DOCTORATE IN CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY

Our online distance education program offers students the opportunity to study a comprehensive curriculum in the Clinical Hypnotherapy doctorate degree program. Clinical Hypnotherapy provides learning in assisting individuals with health issues, pain management and behavior modification as well as more advanced hypnotherapies.

Through this program you will learn the skills needed to succeed in this field. All of the courses are focused on the degree major thus allowing students maximum learning in the core courses and the education needed today to succeed in a successful Clinical Hypnotherapy career. Clinical Hypnotherapy is a very strong career option.

Students begin with the study of use of imagery, the subconscious mind, relaxation and meditation. Specific courses focus on induction and trances, the Eriksonian method, mental health matters and regression therapy. In the higher division course students enter the doctoral project course where they are able to focus more in one area of Clinical Hypnotherapy. The prerequisites for this program are: an earned bachelor’s degree and students must be a certified clinical hypnotherapist by a recognized certifying body. Student must to be admitted to the doctoral program in Clinical Hypnotherapy have an earned bachelors degree. In addition, students must have the equivalent of 20 semester hours of credits in hypnotherapy education and practice. Certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist by a recognized professional organization.

The online curriculum offers an innovative approach to higher education Enrollment is open and students may begin the program at any time. All   courses are provided in online classrooms, with on-to-one faculty mentoring. Students also have free access to our comprehensive Study Tactics and Resources Center, with links to subject related websites, online libraries, articles and research assistance. Our Online Degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy curriculum includes:

20 Prerequisite hours + 65 hours doctoral level courses
TOTAL: 84 Semester Hours

Clinical Hypnotherapy

To be admitted to the Doctoral Program in Clinical Hypnotherapy you must have an earned bachelors degree. In addition, you must have the equivalent of 20 semester hours of credits in hypnotherapy education and practice. Certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist by a recognized professional organization.

Prior to enrollment, you should contact the administrative office and receive the appropriate form for documenting past learning, experiences, certification in clinical hypnotherapy. The Doctoral committee will evaluate your past learning and practice and award college credits for experiential learning, past educational programs completed, etc. You will then be informed whether you have the equivalent of 20 semester hours of credits to be admitted directly into the Doctoral program. If there are deficiencies, we will work with you to suggest independent study programs to achieve the total 20 semester hours of college credits for admission into the program.

If you meet the requirements you will be admitted directly into the program and begin your studies at the doctoral level, as described above.

Upon Completion, Graduates will receive a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy, DCH.

TUITION: $550.00 per course ($650.00 per dissertation course). Students may register and pay for one course at a time.

** There is also a one time $50.00 admission processing fee.

Course Completion Times: You are permitted 10 weeks to complete an online course. This may be extended with the permission of the instructor. For all Symposium Courses, you are permitted up to a six month period for completion. You are permitted one year for all Dissertation/Doctoral Project courses.

TRANSFER CREDITS & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING CREDITS: Up to fifty percent of the degree may be earned by transfer credits from other schools and/or application for the award of experiential learning credits.
