Our online distance education program offers nurses the opportunity to study a comprehensive curriculum in the Doctor of Nursing degree program. The profession of nursing is one that is continually transforming itself. Today there exists a significant shortage of not only undergraduate prepared nurses, but graduate prepared nurses as well. Many practice specialties today require nurses prepared at the doctoral level to provide leadership and education in all facets of professional nursing practice. Health care organizations continue to seek out professional nurses who are educated at the masters and doctorate levels to practice in more advanced roles as the environment dictates.

Through this program students will learn the skills needed to succeed in this field. All of the courses are focused on the major. This allows students to maximize their learning in the core courses and succeed in their educational and career goals.
