Welcome to Banking Management, a Bachelor Level course in the curriculum for the degree, Bachelors in Financial Management. This courses primary focus is on the basic financial models used to make decisions, strengths and weakness in the analysis of the data and the key issues managers are confronted with today.
This is a five-semester hour course. This course is allotted ten weeks of time. You must complete all of the requirements for the course successfully by the end of the ten-week period. The first day of week one will begin the day that you register for the course, or the day which you notify me that your textbook has arrived and you are ready to begin your studies. Please be cognizant of the time frame. It is rare that extensions of time are permitted, unless you have good justification. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded five semester hours of credit.
There is one (1) required textbook for this course.
Book 1: Bank Management, Timothy W. Koch and S. Scott MacDonald, Thomson Southwestern Publishers 5th Edition 2003: ISBN # 324289278.
Examinations are taken online via the Breyer State University website. Once you have registered for this program, you will receive instructions on accessing and taking the examinations. There are two (2) examinations for this course, a midterm exam and a final exam.
As soon as you receive your textbook for the course; you may begin your course of study. Below is the program course outline. Be sure to review it as you progress through the course. Once you have registered for the course, your instructor will send to you a letter of introduction with more explanations and the course assignments.
You will receive a letter grade, based on your over all score achievement. The grading scale is as follows:
90-100% = A
80-89% = B
70-79% = C
60-69% = D
Below 60% = Fail
