Thank you for your interest in our online Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting and Mass Communications Degree Program. Very few (distance program) opportunities exist today for people to acquire their education in this specialty through online courses. Breyer State University is proud to offer a new "Innovative" online distance education degree program leading to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcasting & Mass Communications. Our degree program consists of fourteen (14) core courses, which are listed below:

2. BMC 130 Communication Theories 8 hrs
3. BMC 170 Mass Communincations 8 hrs
4. BMC 220 Public Relations Strategies 8 hrs
5. BMC 240 Foundations of Broadcasting 8 hrs
6. BMC 275 Broadcast Journalism & News 8 hrs
7. BMC 290 Communication Persuasion 8 hrs
8. BMC 300 Broadcasting Productions 8 hrs
9. BMC 325 Law & Ethics in Broadcasting 8 hrs
10. BMC 350 Broadcast Performance 8 hrs
11. BMC 375 Radio & TV Operations 8 hrs
12. BMC 400 Audio & Video Production 8 hrs
13. BMC 450 Broadcasting Symposium 12 hrs
14. BMC 490 Broadcasting & Mass Media: Independent Study Project 12 hrs

Total Semester Hours = 120

Upon successful completion of the fourteen (14) core courses, you will be conferred the degree Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting & Mass Communications and may use the initials, "BS" after your name.

The BS curriculum consists of core courses in Broadcasting & Mass Communications. All courses are targeted and precise, clear and easy to follow, yet challenging and exciting at the same time. Each course begins with a syllabus from your instructor, followed by course assignments. You will be given five years to complete the program. Graduates, who reside outside of the USA, may require their degrees to have an Apostille Certification.  Breyer State University works with an agency in Washington DC that we refer graduates to for application for their Apostille of their degree. View Additional Information

FAQS:

1). There are no residency or travel requirements for this degree program.
2). Courses may be registered for and paid for all at once or one course at a time.
3). You may take more than one course at one time, except for the Symposium/Practicum Courses; they must be taken individually in sequence.

5). Tuition does not include textbooks.
6). To apply for the BS Degree Program, you must complete an online enrollment application. This can be done at www.breyerstate.com/apply.htm
7). There is a one-time $50.00 admissions fee. This can be paid by credit card online at our secure server www.breyerstate.com/pay.htm We also accept personal checks and money orders payable to Breyer State University. These may be mailed to 950 Bannock Street Suite 950, Boise, ID 93702.
8). A high school diploma is the requirement to enroll in this degree program.
9). There are no grants or tuition assistant for this program. However, many employers are paying for or reimbursing tuition for studies at Breyer State University. Please check with your own employer's policy on this.
10). Breyer State University will accept transfer credits of completed courses from other universities.
11). Upon graduation, your diploma and official transcripts will have Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting & Mass Communications printed on them.

13). Our diplomas are beautifully done by a professional printer. They are a light cream color card stock with blue and black foil ink for lasting quality. The Breyer State University logo is imprinted and our diplomas carry the gold embossed seal of the university. They are contained in a beautiful navy blue leather-like diploma holder with the university logo embossed in gold on the outside cover.
