(JD Non-Bar Degree Program)online. Very few (distance program)
opportunities exist today for graduates to continue their education
online at the Doctorate Level and receive the Juris Doctorate (non-bar)
degree.
Breyer State is proud to offer a new “Innovative” online
distance education degree program leading to the Doctor of
Degree (Juris Doctorate Non-Bar). Our degree program consists
of eleven core courses.

Courses in this curriculum are to be taken in sequence as above.
Our program is a total of 84 semester hours of credits. Upon
successful completion of all courses, students are conferred the
degree Doctor of Law, Juris Doctorate Degree and may use the initials, “JD” after
their name.
Students are given five years to complete the program.
This is a non-bar Juris Doctorate Degree Program. Graduates
will not be eligible for bar examinations. Graduates of a non-bar
JD program generally use the degree for personal achievements,
consulting, authoring, speaking engagements, as an assistant
for a law firm, and other types of positions and/or professional
activities that do not require completion of a bar examination.
Graduates would not be admitted into a bar and would not be permitted
to "practice law."
Apostille Notarization of Degrees
Graduates, who reside outside of the USA, may require their degrees to have an Apostille Certification. Breyer State University works with an agency in Washington DC that we refer graduates to for application for their Apostille of their degree. View Additional Information
1). There are no residency or travel requirements for this degree
program.
2). Courses may be registered for and paid for, all at once or one
course at a time.
3). You may take more than one course at one time.
4). Breyer State University is accredited by the Association for Innovation in Distance Education. To learn more about our accreditation

5). Tuition does not include the course of required textbooks.
6). To apply for the Non-Bar Juris Doctorate Program, you
must complete an online
enrollment application. This can be done at www.breyerstate.com/apply.htm
7). There is a one-time $50.00 admissions fee. This can be paid
by credit card online at our secure server www.breyerstate.com/pay.htm
We also accept personal checks and money orders payable to
Breyer State University. These may be mailed to 2100 SouthBridge Parkway, Suite 650,
Birmingham, Alabama 35209.
8). Requirement for admission to this degree program is an earned
bachelors level degree in any field.
9). There are no grants or tuition assistant for this program.
However, many employers are paying for or reimbursing tuition
for studies at Breyer State University. Please check with your
own employer's policy on this.
10). Breyer State University will accept transfer credits of
completed courses from other universities.
11). Upon graduation, your diploma and official transcripts will
have Doctor of Law, Juris Doctorate Degree (Non-Bar) printed on
them. Your selected specialty will also be displayed on your diploma
and transcripts.
12). Transfer credits may apply to your degree requirements.

13). Our diplomas are beautifully done by a professional printer.
They are a light cream color card stock with blue and black foil
ink for lasting quality. The Breyer State University logo is
imprinted and our diplomas carry the gold embossed seal of the
university. They are contained in a beautiful navy blue leather-like
diploma holder with the university logo embossed in gold on the
