MASTERS IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

MBA DEGREE PROGRAM

Our online distance learning education program offers students the opportunity to study a comprehensive curriculum in the masters in business administration program (MBA) and receive their graduate degree in business administration with a specialty major. All students enter the program taking the core courses in business administration, and then they select one track of a specialty major area of study.

All of the courses are focused in general business graduate education, and the track courses are all focused in the major thus allowing students maximum learning in the core courses and the education needed today to succeed in a successful specialty focused business career. There continues to be a great demand in the business world for MBA prepared graduates, especially those who have studied a specialty major. The online core courses feature graduate level studies in leadership, accounting, business ethics, finance, strategy and business statistics. The prerequisite for admission is an earned undergraduate degree in business administration, management, or a closely related field. Those who have career experience in business and do have a business administration major at the undergraduate level, will be considered on an individual basis for admission to the MBA degree program.

In the higher division specialty track courses, students select their track of specialty study and continue on to complete all of their courses as outlined in the tracks below. Our innovative online MBA program allows students a wide array of specialty tracks to chose from. All of the specialty courses are highly focused and concentrated in the major. The final 15 semester hour symposium course allows students to select a topic of interest within their major area of study and pursue faculty mentored research. This culminates in the final production of an MBA project in the specialty major.

The online MBA curriculum offers an innovative approach to higher distance education. Enrollment is open and students may begin the program at any time. All business administration courses are provided in online classrooms, with one-to-one faculty mentoring. Students also have free access to our online comprehensive Study Tactics and Resources Center, with links to subject related websites online libraries, articles and research assistance.
