Online Degree Program

Our online distance education program offers students the opportunity to study a comprehensive curriculum in the Project Management degree program. Project management professionals use leadership skills and problem solving to manage projects with time constraints.
    
Through this program you will learn the skills needed to succeed in this field. All of the courses are focused on the degree major thus allowing students maximum learning in the core courses and the education needed today to succeed in a successful Project Management career. Project Management is a very strong career option. Agencies and clients seek out those with a strong and focused education in all facets of Project Management.
    
Students begin with the study of processes, planning managing teams and issues on project management. Specific courses focus on strategic management, implementation and evaluation and quality project management. The final course in the curriculum is an independent study symposium in which students work with their instructor and design a full learning-contract that is focused on a particular specialty or research related topic in project management. Several career fields this degree will prepare you for are:

* Project Management Executive

The prerequisites for this program are: an earned bachelors degree in management, business administration or a closely related field..

The online curriculum offers an innovative approach to higher education Enrollment is open and students may begin the program at any time. All   courses are provided in online classrooms, with on-to-one faculty mentoring. Students also have free access to our comprehensive Study Tactics and Resources Center, with links to subject related websites, online libraries, articles and research assistance. Our online Project Management degree curriculum includes:

2. PM 550 Project Planning 5 hrs
3. MNG 435 Managing Teams 5 hrs
4. BUS 605 Advanced Strategic Management 5 hrs
5. PM 590 Issues in Project Management 5 hrs
6. PM 620 Project Implementation and Evaluation 5 hrs
7. PM 660 Project Quality Management 5 hrs
8. PM 690 Project Management Symposium 15 hrs

TOTAL: 50 Semester Hours

Courses in this curriculum are to be taken in sequence as above.

TUITION: $500.00 per course. Students may register and pay for one course at a time.

* Note: cost of tuition does not include cost of text books.

** There is also a one time $50.00 admission processing fee.

Course Completion Times: Students are permitted 10 weeks to complete an online course. This may be extended with the permission of the instructor. For all Symposium Courses, students are permitted up to a six month period for completion. Doctoral students are permitted one year for all Dissertation/Doctoral Project courses.

Certificate Option: students have the option of first enrolling into and completing a Graduate Certificate in this degree program. All courses in the graduate certificate program will transfer in to the Masters Degree Program. Following graduation with the Graduate Certificate, students may then elect to enroll in the masters degree program and complete the remaining courses.
