Syllabus

COURSE OVERVIEW: Welcome to MCH 495! This is the highest level research and practicum course in the Bachelor of Science in MCH curriculum offered through Breyer State University, Inc. This course is an essential course in the Bachelor of Science degree program leading to a B.S. degree in Metaphysical Clinical Hypnotherapy. This course has been developed to provide all students with a high level working knowledge of the fundamental terminology, research techniques, tools, real-life exercises, practical knowledge, and field study to take the art and science of Metaphysical Clinical Hypnotherapy into the realm of a dedicated and real science.

This course is a very up-to-date overview and guided process that must be followed step by step for completion of this course. Once completed and with a certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy, and upon successful completion of all previous courses and requirements you will apply to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Metaphysical Clinical Hypnotherapy. The MCH 495 course is based on a fascinating new text called: How Psychic Are You? 76 Techniques to Boost Your Innate Power.

From auras and dream interpretation to clairvoyance and color energy, this text shows you how to harness your intuition and enhance your life and the lives of others. This text will help you discover and develop your inner potential with the guide that asks: how psychic are you? We've all had psychic experiences in our lives, whether they are immediate and inexplicable feelings we get from a person or place, flashing senses of another's thoughts, or startling premonitions of future events. In this beautifully illustrated, interactive guide, a practicing psychic shows you how to use this intrinsic talent to enrich your everyday life. With easy-to-follow techniques and exercises that everyone can perform, How Psychic Are You? helps you. Helps you to identify and develop your psychic skills while showing how the power of intuition can make you more in tune with yourself and the world around you. Vibrant and fun, this is a practical introduction for the psychic in all of us!

The author, Julie Soskin, is a writer, medium, and teacher. She was born and raised in London. She became aware of being psychic as a child, and has been developing, practicing, and teaching in the field of psychic studies ever since.

How Psychic Are You? is laid out for inter-active exchange. It contains simple questionnaires and exercises that will immediately give you some feedback about your approach to and potential success in the various areas of psychism. Often, there are suggestions about strengthening your gifts using the exercises and practices in the book. If the process of discovery is successful, you should be able to use your intuition in beneficial ways in your day-to-day life. You will be able to see for yourself how a new perspective can aid you in not only being conscious of what's around you now, but also help you to take charge of your own destiny.

The first chapter of How Psychic Are You? helps you discover any latent psychic talents. How intuitive are you? Are your senses sufficiently awakened? Do you understand your will and use positive thought? Can you exert mind over matter? The chapter also provides you with insight into how meditation, sharpening your psychic vision, and comprehending the chakras and auras can lead to profound discoveries.

The next chapter tackles Extra-Sensory Perceptions. Is it possible to read minds? Travel to places without leaving your armchair? Look into the future? Or decipher dreams that inform you of your needs?

Chapter three considers the psychic aids at your disposal. Astrology, the I Ching, Tarot, Scrying, Palm Reading, and Divining - all can provide insights that no other form of communication can.

Chapter four is concerned with spiritual healing and with simple approaches to balancing energies for health and well being. Does the body speak to us through illnesses and if so, can we do something to heal ourselves? Can you sufficiently develop your innate powers so that you can heal not only yourself, but others as well? Readers will be advised on using particular tools such as crystals, music, and color. This section ends with glorious color pages, which not only inform, but also can be used for meditation and healing purposes.

Chapter five looks at communication with non-physical beings. Have you ever encountered a ghost? Are there such things such as poltergeists? And do angels really help us throughout our lives? Could you be a shaman, someone who allows spirits of nature to talk through you, or become closer to a spirit guide?

The penultimate section covers psychic protection. If you are looking at developing your intuitive powers, you need to be discerning and protected. Some psychic self-defense is used in part five to aid you through your progress. Finally, in the last chapter, the author discusses the implications of beginning to see the world through higher levels of consciousness. How can you best channel these energies and does karma really work within our lives? What is the transpersonal self and can it assist the function of our intuition effectively?

In entering the psychic world, people often lose sight of the joy of living and the fun of the adventure. In this book the author hopes to inject some enjoyment into the crucial subject of how we manage psychic forces in our lives, and what we therefore may achieve.
