SYLLABUS

COURSE OVERVIEW: Welcome to the Bachelor's degree program in Marketing Management offered by Breyer State University . You have made a wise decision to pursue study and acquire the knowledge and skills needed to practice in this growing management specialty. This area of specialty practice is growing all the time and many are using their skills to practice full or part time in this area of marketing. This practice specialty grows more important each day and many graduates of our program will have opportunities to acquire positions in marketing management. TIME FRAME: This comprehensive college-based course is developed to provide learners with an understanding of the principles and foundations of marketing and marketing management. A high school diploma is required for admission to this course of study. This course is a foundational course in the degree curriculum. This course is designed to be self-paced. Five (5) semester hours of college credits are awarded upon successful completion.

TAKING EXAMS: Examinations are taken online via the Breyer State University website. Once you have registered for this program, you will receive instructions on accessing and taking the examinations. There are two (2) examinations for this course, a midterm exam and a final exam.

GETTING STARTED: As soon as you receive your textbook for the course; you may begin your course of study. Below is the program course outline. Be sure to review it as you progress through the course. Once you have registered for the course, your instructor will send to you a letter of introduction with more explanations and the course assignments.

GRADING: You will receive a letter grade, based on your over all score achievement. The grading scale is as follows:

90-100%    = A
80-89%      = B
70-79%      = C
60-69%      = D
Below 60% = Fail
