SYLLABUS

COURSE OVERVIEW: This is a six-hour course in the curriculum for the PH.D. in Management program. It is my pleasure to partner with you for this course. The course is an overview of all the financial actions made in an organization. It is the study of the three basic areas of decisions; where should the money be invested, where should the funds be raised, and how much of the funds should be returned to investors. This course will not differentiate between small or large, private or public, or foreign and domestic organizations. We will analyze identification of issues, problems, and future business implications. We will conduct critical analyses of various actual companies with actual opportunities for success.

TIME FRAME: The course is allotted ten weeks of time. You must complete all of the requirements for the course successfully by the end of the ten-week period. The first day of week one will begin the day that you register for the course. Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn six semester hours of credit.
