Welcome to Administrative Law for paralegals, a bachelors level course in the curriculum for the Bachelors in Legal Studies Program at Breyer State University.
The Administrative Law course is one, which introduces students to the structure of administrative agencies, their rules and judicial review.
The overall goal of the course is to give a student an understanding of the functioning of all governmental agencies at different levels and to highlight the specific rules, which govern their operation.
This is an eight-hour course and is allotted 10 weeks to complete. You must complete all requirements by the end of the 10-week period. The first day of the week will begin the day you register for the course or in the alternative on the day you notify the instructor that you are in receipt of the textbook and are ready to begin the class. Please be cognizant of the time frames listed in the syllabus. Further please be advised that unless circumstances warrant an extension of the time frames listed in this section, all assignments and exams are to be completed on time and submitted to the instructor upon completion. Upon successfully completing all requirements of this course you will be awarded eight semester credit hours toward your bachelors degree.

There are two examinations for this course, a mid-term and a final exam. The mid-term and final exams cover the materials in the text, and both exams will be in a true/false - multiple choice format.
The first exam will be a midterm and must be taken by the end of the fifth week in the course and the final examination must be taken by the end of the tenth week in the course.
The grading scale for the course is as follows:
90-100% - A
80-89% - B
70-79% - C
Below 70% - Fail
