Welcome to Business Organizations for Paralegals, a bachelors level course in the curriculum for the Bachelors in Legal Studies Program at Breyer State University.
The Business Organizations for Paralegals course is one, which introduces paralegals to various forms of business entities including sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations.
The overall goal of the course is to give a paralegal student understanding of various business structures and how each one differs in the eyes of the law.
This is an eight-hour course and is allotted ten weeks to complete. You must complete all requirements by the end of the ten week period. The first day of the week will begin the day you register for the course or in the alternative on the day you notify the instructor that you are in receipt of the textbook and are ready to begin the class. Please be cognizant of the time frames listed in the syllabus. Further please be advised that unless circumstances warrant an extension of the time frames listed in this section, all assignments and exams are to be completed on time and submitted to the instructor upon completion. Upon successfully completing all requirements of this course you will be awarded eight semester credit hours toward your bachelors degree.

There are two examinations for this course, a mid-term and a final exam. The mid-term and final exams cover the materials in the text,
The first exam will be a midterm and must be taken by the end of the fifth week in the course and the final examination must be taken by the end of the tenth week in the course.
The grading scale for the course is as follows:
90-100% - A
80-89% - B
70-79% - C
Below 70% - Fail
