After a couple of years of Southern gentleman learning at Davidson College then two years at Cornell College -- on a lovely hilltop above the cornfields of Iowa - I earned an M.A. at the portentous University of Wisconsin-Madison. I studied further with Dr. Frank Schnell at the Columbus Museum (Columbus , Ga.) and the Anthropology Department of Auburn University. I've read law at T. G. Jones School of Law, Faulkner University.

Past teaching experience includes City Colleges of Chicago-Norfolk Naval Station; Thomas Nelson Community College, Hampton, Va.; Southern Union State Comm. College, Opelika, Alabama; and Chattahoochee Valley Comm. College, Phenix City, Alabama.

I presently work in real estate development, converting cut-over timber land and abandoned farms in east Alabama and west Georgia into cozy exurban residential properties. I'm contemplating resuming law school or other graduate work.
