LaVerne Boone, MS

In addition to teaching in the program at Breyer State University, LaVerne Boone is a professor for Phoenix University where her teaching interests include psychology, criminal law and drug addiction.  She is a licensed psychotherapist and owns a mental health and substance abuse clinic.   She has an AA degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling, a BSW in Social Work, and a Master’s in Criminal Justice/Criminology. Her previous teaching posts include the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Sojourner Douglas College where she taught in the areas of psychology, criminal justice and drug addiction.
